UK Bank Holidays is free to use. We plan to fund it with advertising from Google AdSense. At the moment no adverts are shown.
How adverts will appear
- Every advert is labelled “Advertisements” and sits in a clearly separated area.
- Adverts never appear inside the answer at the top of a page, the calendars, the tools or the navigation.
- We do not use pop-ups, pop-unders or auto-refreshing adverts.
Consent
In the UK, personalised adverts need your consent. Before adverts go live we will use a consent tool certified for the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. If you refuse consent, Google may still show non-personalised or limited adverts. Details will be added to our privacy policy and cookie policy.
Editorial independence
Advertisers have no influence on the dates, rules or explanations we publish, and we do not accept paid content presented as editorial. Our editorial policy explains how we work.
